প্রথমে আপনাদের একটি বিষয়ে পরিস্কার ভাবে বলতে চাই ইন্টারনেটের মার্কেটপ্লেসে কাজ পাবার জন্য কিন্ত আপনাকে সারা বিশ্বের ডিজাইনাদের সাথে প্রতিযোগিতা করে কাজ নিতে হবে। তবে প্রথমে দুই একটা কাজ ভাল করলে পরে আপনার কাজ পেতে আর কোনো সমস্য থাকবে না। আর সবাই তার কাজটা করিয়ে নিতে চাই দক্ষ ডিজাইনার দিয়ে। মনে করুন আপনি একটি ঘর তৈরি করবেন আপনি কি চাইবেন নতুন মিস্ত্রি দিয়ে আপনি ঘরটা তৈরি করেনি। আপনি কখনো চাবেন না।
তার জন্য প্রথমে আপনাকে দুই একটা ভালো কাজ করে রাখতে হবে। যাতে আপনার ঔ কাজ গুলো দেখে বায়ার্ন বুঝতে পারে না আপনি ভালো কাজ পারেন। তারপরে আপনার প্রাফাইলটা সুন্দর করে সাজাতে হবে। যেন বায়ার্নরা দেখে খুশি হয়। আপনি কি কি কাজ পারেন সেই সকল কিছু প্রাফাইলে তুলে ধরবেন। এতে করে আপনি খুব সহজে কাজ পেয়ে যাবেন। তবে, প্রথমে কাজ পেতে কিছু দিন সময় লাগে।
বিশ্বের প্রায় সকল দেশের একজন শিক্ষার্থী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে গ্রাফিক্স ডিজাইনের উপর ডিগ্রী নিতে পারে। কিন্ত আমাদের বাংলাদেশে সেই সু ব্যবস্থা নেই। তবে, দিনের পর দিন বাংলাদেশ সরকার এই দিকে বিশেষ নজর দিচ্ছে। তাছাড়া Graphic Design এই শিক্ষাকে দুই ভাগে ভাগ করা হয়েছে। যথা- (১) একাডেমিক এবং (২) প্রফেশনাল।
তবে, বাংলাদেশে প্রফেশনাল ডিগ্রী বলে কোনো বিষয় নেই। মোট কথা বাংলাদেশে গ্রাফিক্স ডিজাইন শেখার মতো ভালো কোনো শিক্ষা প্রতিস্ঠান নেই। এবং নেই তেমনি দীর্ঘমেয়াদী ট্রেনিং সেন্টার। যেখানে থেকে ভালো মানের Graphic Designer বের হবে। তবে, কিছু কিছু গ্রাফিক্স ডিজাইনের কোচিং সেন্টার রয়েছে কিন্ত সেখানে মুল নিময় জানার মূল্যবোধ করেন না। যার ফলে অনেক ডিজাইনাররা মার্কেটে কাজ না পেয়ে অকালে ঝরে গেছে তাদের কাজের দক্ষতা।
এই সব জায়গায় শেখান কি করলে কি হবে। তাদের কাছ থেকে কাজ শিখে আপনি ভালো মানের কাজ করতে পারবেন না। আর ফ্রিল্যান্সিং মার্কেটেপ্লেসে আপনি কাজ পাবেন না। কারণ সেখানে রয়েছে হাজার হাজার ভালো মানে ডিজাইনার। তাদের সাথে প্রতিযোগিতা করে আপনাকে কাজ করতে হবে এবং কাজ নিতে হবে বায়ার্নদের কাছ থেকে।
আপনাদের জানতে হবে সর্ব প্রথমে গ্রাফিক্স ডিজাইন শেখার জন্য কি কি জানা প্রয়োজন। আপনাদের মনে রাখতে হবে এক দিনে সব কিছু সম্ভব নয়। কারণ এক জন শিল্পী কয়েক বছর পড়াশোনা করে তার পরে সে পূর্ন ছবি আঁকতে পারে। আর এই লম্বা সময়ে তাকে শেখানো হয় রং কি, রেখা কি এই সকল বিষয়ে। কিভাবে একাধিক রং এর মিশ্রণ করলে বিশেষ রং পাওয়া যাবে। এই বিষয়ে তাকে ধারনা দেওয়া হয়। ডিজিটাল ডিজাইনের ক্ষেএে কারিগরকে অবশ্যয় গুরুত্ব দিতে হবে রং এর দিকে।
তাছাড়া, তাদেরকে বুঝানো হয় কেন ইমেজে কেন টুল ব্যবহার কারতে হবে, কেন ফরমাট ব্যবহার করতে হবে, ডিজাইনের জন্য কি রকমের সাইজ নিতে হবে এই সকর বিষয়ে তাকে দক্ষ করে তুলা হয়। এই বিশেষ বিষয় গুলো অধিঅংশ ডিজাইনারকে শেখানো হয় না। যার ফলে তারা ভালো ডিজাইন করে কিন্ত সেটা বায়ার্নকে পছন্দ হয় না।
কাজেই আমাদের কাছে যখন কেউ প্রশ্ন করে ভাই কিভাবে গ্রাফিক্স ডিজাইনার হবো তখন আমরা তাকে উত্তর দিতে পারি না। আর এই প্রশ্নের উত্তর দেওয়াটা আমাদের জন্য অনেক কঠিন হয়ে যায়। Graphic Design শেখার জন্য সব চেয়ে ভালো হয় কোনো প্রতিষ্ঠানের সহযোগিতা পাওয়া। তাহালে অল্প সময়ে দ্রুত এবং ভালো কাজ শেখা যায়। আর আপনি যদি বই পড়ে শিখতে যান তাহালে আপনিকে অনেক সময় দিতে হবে।
